Description:
The Marco Polo was launched in Saint John, New Brunswick, where it was built. At the time, it was the fastest ship in the world, being the first vessel to complete a round trip from Liverpool in less than six months. It had 3 masts and was made out of wood. Its purpose was to carry emigrants and other passengers to Australia.
