Description:

Japanese wanted China but there was a treat - building a trans-siberian railway and Russia negotiating minimal rights on Qing dynasty. + Anglo- Japanese alliance. Japan invaded Russia secretly and that started the war. The Russian empire was desperate to defeat the Japanese at sea, not far from St. Petersburg and so the emperor of Russia ordered the battle to go from the Baltic Sea all the way to the Battle of Tsushima. They lost, consolidating japanese empire in Northeast asia and Korea being then declared a protectored of Japan.
