Description:

After defeating the Khwarizmshah, the Mongols begin a wholesale invasion of the Islamic world, led by Hulegu, the grandson of Chinggis. In their invasion tactics, the Mongols cover 70 miles a day on the backs of ponies that they switch out. Fighters are especially skilled in riding and shooting. Yurts are carried to sleep in at night. A key tactic of invasion is to terrify enemies into submission with brutal civilian slaughters and fighting style -- promotes surrender.
