In 1876 Alexander Graham Bell and Elias Gray went to the New York Patent Office to sign the new invention: the telephone.
This invention used the electricity to talk from a distance and to start a telephone network that dialing some numbers allowed you to communicate with people.
In less than 25 years one of fifty persons had a telephone in the United States.
