Description:
-Mao created a program called the great leap forward-China was collected in to farm communes which included several villages and thousands of acres of land
-They assigned jobs to each worker and by doing this they provided education, healthcare, housing and childcare and recreation.
-In order to industrialize the west, mao increased the steel production
-Farms were equiped with backyard furnaces so they can create more steel
