Description:

By Henry Ford

Henry Ford tried to improve the production of an efficient and reliable automobile that would be affordable for everyone; the result was the Model T.
Ever since then, was inevitable that cars would be produced in larger volume at lower prices than in Europe.
This in turn required the standardization of products and resulted in the volume production of such commodities as firearms, sewing machines, bicycles, and many other items. In 1913, the United States produced some 485,000 of the world total of 606,124 motor vehicles.

Nevertheless, to carry through it, he established a new revolucionary production system, known as the mass production. This automobile revolution converted the automobile as a product easy to attain for a middle class person.

This represented a whole new perspective of the cars' manufacturing and was the key idea that permitted to develop this industry as the way it is nowadays.
