Description:
During his second voyage to North America, Champlain was put in charge of selecting a place to overwinter during the winter of 1604. He first selected an island in the Bay of Fundy, but moved it in the spring to the what would become Acadia, naming it Port Royal. He used this as a base until 1607.Ajouté au bande de temps:
