Description:
After the Tarriff of 1824 and 1832 South Carolina held convention dicussing the nullifiction of the both tariffs. Jackson reacted with millitary forces prepared, a force bill, and a proclimation to South Carolina labeling their nullification and their disunion as treason. Before any millitary force Jackson compromised and lowered the tariff with made South Carolina postpone nullification.
