Description:
For 800 years, the city was not conquered or taken over. The economy of the empire was affected. This inspired other Barbaric tribes to attack Rome as it showed that the Empire was not invincible. These events led to the fall of the Western Empire when Odoacer became the first "barbarian" emperorre of Rome.
