Description:
Austrian emperor became alarmed about safety of King and Queen, Commander of Austrian forces ( Duke of Brunswick) sent the French a formal warning that no harm should come to royal family, He demanded that the King be put ‘ fully at liberty’ and threatened to put “ the city of Paris to military punishment and total destruction’ if this failed.
