Description:

The murders of these men were called the "Freedom Summer murders". The men were associated with Council of Federated Organizations (COFO). The men traveled to Meridian Mississippi to talk to a black church but the church had been burned later the men were pulled over and followed. After that they were abducted and were driven to a location and shot. The mens bodies were put in dam where they were buried
