1 janv. 1850 - Minstrel
Description:
Minstrel was the first form of musical and theatrical entertainment. It featured mainly white performers who artificially blackened their skin and carried out parodies of African American music, dance, dress, and dialect. The songs and performances made fun of African Americans by exaggerating their voice, "lack" of intelligence, their songs, and customs.
