Description:

The Hebrews had been slaves to the Egyptians for hundreds of years and God decided that his people needed to be free. So he told Moses to go back to Egypt and free his people. This ended the suffering of the Hebrews for the time being. Moses then received the laws of God which was a repeat of the covenant that God had made with Abraham years before.
