Description:

Communists that fled first fled to Southeastern China in a place called Jiangxi

Set up a government modeled after the Russian communist regime

Communists got attacked by The Nationalist

The famous Long March was when 100,000 communists made their way from Jiangxi to Shaanxi on foot

They were chased by communists during this long journey and had to cross 18 mountain ranges and 24 rivers

Many died but those who survived established headquarters in an isolated mountain town of Yan'an
