Description:

John Hinckley Jr. shot President Reagan outside of the Hilton Hotel in Washington D.C. after he addressed the building and construction workers UNion of the AFL-CIO. He was armed with a .22 revolver, when he shot the president he was only 10 feet away but the bullets did not explode like they were supposed to and Hinckley had a poor shot. His first shot it Secretary James Brady and others hit police officers and secret service agents. But hinckley's last shot hit the presidents limo, ricocheted off and hit the president in the chest but he was able to survive.
