1 janv. 683 - Ka'ba Burnt Down/Black Stone Moved

Description:

Ibn Zubayr war with caliphs in Damascus.
The Syrian army siege the town and the Ka'ba got burnt. The wood beams burnt down and the building went down.
As I point out in the book Early Islamic Qiblas, (pg. 172) it was during this time that the Black
Stone must have been moved to Mecca in Saudi Arabia to keep it far from the Umayyad armies, as
soon after this that there is mention of Ibn Zubayr’s qibla (Ṭabarī 21:107).
