15 mars 1936 - Banned Falange

Description:

In March 15 1936 The government banned the Falange, a Spanish fascist organisation. This was due to the party members having tried to assassinate Luis Jiménez Asúa, a Socialist member of the Cortes, on 10 March, and the trade union leader, Francisco Largo Caballero on 14 March. José Antonio Primo de Rivera, the leader, was arrested for illegal possession of weapons.
