- Day 335
- Late into the afternoon, Lilly's group returns to Woodbury. Matthew's team has already beaten them back to town. They're shaken, sweaty and covered with soot so Bob treats them in the infirmary for minor burns and smoke inhalation.
- Lilly questions them about what happened and how long they've got until the herd arrives. Matthew predicts they have twelve hours at the most. Lilly has seen walkers spooked by fire before but nothing like walking straight through it without any care. Bob says that the corner of the west wall should be fortified by nightfall.
- He knows they don't have much time but Bob wants to say a few words for Hap before they bury him. Lilly agrees and says that once the wall is reinforced and everybody is gathered in the square, they'll bury Hap next to Penny. Nobody knows how badly Bob wants a drink right now.
- Speed asks if Calvin and his family have decided to stick around. Lilly isn't sure. She thinks he's cool and the kids are sweet. However everyone should keep an eye on Meredith, she's got this look in her eye and wants to help with the explosives which isn't a good idea.
