While Oswald was transferred from the city jail to the county jail, Jack Ruby a Dallas nightclub owner pushed through police and media and shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald at point-blank range. Lee Harvey Oswald was a 24 year old warehouse worker for the Texas School Book Depository and was found to of worked alone in the assassination of President Kennedy.
