Description:
When Harriet was considered old enough for slave labor, she was working in the fields when an overseer spotted another slave attempting to run away. The overseer demanded Harriet to assist in tying up the runaway slave, but she refused to do so. The overseer picked up an iron weight and threw it at Harriett, causing her to have a neardeath blow to the head. From then on, Harriet has black outs and seizures for the rest of her life.
