The League of Nations was an international organization founded on the 10th of January,1920, after WW1. It was thought up by Woodrow Wilson, the US president during ww1. It was to be a group of nations collaborating to keep peace. Unfortunately, the plan had failed because after a vote was held, the American public refused to join. Because of this the league didn’t have enough power to follow through. This later proved to be a fatal flaw in the league’s structure.

- 2 causes: Woodrow Wilson thought up and created the League of Nations in order to create peace with a group of nations. To make the plan follow through, a vote was held.

- 2 effects: Once the vote was held, the plan unfortunately didn’t follow through because the American public refused to join, decisions were made too slow, it wasn’t representative enough and the League of Nations didn’t have any troops of its own.
