So after the concerns of fascism growing in small countries and in big countries in the European continent Stalin wanted to stop that and wanted to spread more of Communism. So Stalin sent troops and supply to his fellow supports of Communism the left wing so they can have a victory in this war and in return he world have negotiations with the Spaniards trades and rules of the new land. Left wing used those supply's very well to by defending off some of the attacks during the civil war. Not only did they get supply but they also got more support over the the fight progression which aloud them to gain more troops from there own country and a lot more fro the soviet union if they asked for more in the civil war fight against the right wing. Also on the side note this also allowed the left wing or republicans get support from mexico n the later years of fighting.
