Description:

The first 25 homes to be built under the Auckland Council's housing accord are expected to be snapped up when they go on sale next week.

Over the next two to three years 211 homes will be built in Hobsonville Point's 7.4 hectare Sunderland precinct which will include a mixture of apartments, free-standing and terraced housing and refurbished heritage homes.

The development is part of the Auckland housing accord which aims to plug Auckland's housing shortage by fast-tracking the construction of affordable housing across the city.
