Description:
Egypt's first female leader was Hatshepsut. She was remembered for promoting trade with other countries; her biggest trade was to the kingdom of Punt and over 200 men in five ships brought gods to Punt. Hatshepsut raised her respect by demanding she was treated the same as any other pharaoh and by spreading stories that her father was a god.
