Will Campbell speaks:- rumors of planned attacks by whites, which the police do not intend to stop
- any sit-in attempts will lead to the police violent involvement
they continued their sit-in which ended with violence from the whites and the police did nothing. It died down as there was no violence from the blacks. the police came in to arrest everyone.
