2 août 1934 - Hitler becomes Fuhrer

After the death of German President Paul von Hindenburg Adolf Hitler was then elected becoming the Fuhrer or Leader. Hitler implemented his plans to take over the world starting with Austria followed by seizing all of Czechoslovakia then invading Poland in 1939, leading to war with Germany and France. During WW2 Hitler had many victories taking over many parts of Europe including the invasion of the Soviet Union. By early 1945 Great Brittan and America were caving in. This war took more than 20 million lives making Hitler one of the greatest villains.
