Description:

The Treaty of Versailles was a peace treaty which its purpose was to end world war 1
Germany signed the treaty because they were losing the war against the allies and the other central powers had already signed their treaty. Majority of Germans thought the treaty was way to harsh. This treaty was practically the cause of World War 2 Hitler was devastated by the loss of the Central Powers. Another effect was Germany had to pay reparations to the allies which was a huge amount (5 billion).
