25 nov 1936 - Anti-Comintern Pact (Germany and Japan)

Description:

The Anti-Comintern Pact was a pact made between Germany and Japan on the 25th of November in 1936. Italy then joined the pact on the 7th of November in 1937. The pact made them countries agree to stop the spread of Communism around the globe. During the Spanish Civil was Germany and Italy worked well together and brought a fascist triumph over communism. Hitler and Mussolini realised that they had much in common between then and that working together would be in both countries’ interests; this interest was then extended to Imperial Japan. This agreement would later be referred to as the Axis Alliance or Axis Powers.
