Brazil got autonomous from Portugal. It was on September 7, 1822. They had pronounced war on Portugal to pick up autonomy. Inevitably, Brazil vanquished Portugal, picking up their freedom. Brazil needed to become autonomous on account of the constitutionalists ascending in insurgency, making a constitution to constrain the Portuguese King to return.
