0 h 5 min, 21 oct. 1803 ans - John Dalton defines atoms as balls and atoms of one element are the same.
Description:
After experimenting on the absorption of gases, Dalton wondered why the gas produced from the water was always the same and never a different consistency. He proposed that elements are made of small balls, atoms. He also stated that each atom in one element would always be the same. Dalton continued to say that atoms were indivisible and impossible to crush while being the building blocks of matter and combine together with other atoms to make various compounds.
