19 avr. 1775 - Battle at Lexington and Concord

Description:

The Battle of Lexington and Concord was the first military engagements of the Revolutionary War. The battle was fought on April 19, 1775 in Lexington, Concord and Cambridge. It was well known because it was where the Revolutionary War had begun. The British had gone there in the first place because they had heard the colonists were storing gunpowder there. 80 American militiamen were in the town when the British arrived, the colonists were led by Captain John Parker. They were against a much bigger British team that was led by Thomas Gage. Neither of the sides wanted to fight but a gunshot went off and it started, to this day no one knows who fired the gunshot.
