An Historic period sidewheel steamboat named the Arabia sunk in 1856 near the Quindaro Bend in the Missouri River. The boat was full of very well-preserved goods now on display at the Arabia Steamboat Museum, 400 Grand Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri.
