Description:

This last stage isn't normally achieved by most adults. There also two stages in this group. They are social contract and universal ethical principle. The fifth stage is social contract which is when right and wrong are determined by the person's personal or internal values but if the law goes against their belief they will follow the law. The next one is the universal ethic principle which is when the person now lives according to themselves and their values and puts their values above the law. Now not that many adults make it this far. Only about 10-15% of adults advance this far.
