Description:
Wanted to use atomic weapons on North Korea.He also Favored an invasion of China and distrusted Truman's policy of limited war fought to achieve only specific goals. MacArthur was later fired by Truman for insubordination. MacArthur attacked North of the parallel invading North Korea, The Allied advance had reached the Chinese border at the Yalu River.
