1 janv. 1897 - Cathode Ray Tube Experiment
Description:
Electrons, which have a negative charge, flow off the cathode and are attracted to the anode. A small hole in the anode allows some electrons to pass through it, creating a beam of electrons. This showed that atoms have electrons in a positively charged area. J.J. Thomson was related to this event, as he conducted this experiment.
