Gottfried Leibinz publishes his "Explication de l'Arithmétique Binaire," which contains the first instances of binary logic.REASONS WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT:
1) Binary went on to become the basic language that computers understood
2) Even today, computers still translate binary into more complex programs
3) Even if we don't think about it, we still use binary logic in computer programming, in the form of booleans
