Description:

- Day 646
- Rick informs Andrea that they're going after Negan which she is happy about. He still wants to keep it a secret from most people though due to things getting dangerous. Carl enters and says he overheard everything. He asks to help because he's capable. Rick says he was coming to tell him next and wants him by his side, as he has proven himself.
- Michonne doesn't think it's necessary to go after Negan and is angry that Rick lied to them all. When they first got to Alexandria, Michonne hung up her sword on the mantle because she was done with it and didn't want to use it again (see day 458). Rick tries to convince her to use it one last time and after they're done with the Saviors she can melt it down. She tells him to not make promises he can't keep, even if he believes them.
- Rick looks over the pantry and they don't have near enough for Negan. He tells Olivia that they're going to have to go on a big supply run, they have no other choice.
- Spencer enters and tells Rick that he's almost never here and he thinks he's scared of Negan which is why he surrendered. He speculates that when his father put Rick in charge (see day 470) he doesn't think it was permanent, and if he knew it would lead to his death (see day 473) he wouldn't at all. Rick tells him he knows what he's doing and after a brief pause, Spencer backs down.
