Description:
-The Dominion of Canada were taking a vast amount of land from Rupert's land.-The Colony of farmers and hunters (Many of them were Metis) occupied a corner of rupert's land and feared that the canadians would take their land and culture. The uprising led to the start of the creation of manitoba where they could freely practice their religion and culture.
