Description:

We heard from retailer team that when they try to remove retailer from a tag, it deletes all of the retailers. While fixing the initial problem we saw many other issues and inconsistencies with the Retailer Tags functionality. We decided to own it, review the whole solution and provide not just a quickfix, but a whole working solution, that will remove any roadblocks for our internal retail team to do their job.

Challenge: The front end was broken due to old code. Removing or adding a single retailer cause all the other tagged retailers to be deleted. Pretty annoying… the team has to add them one by one again.

Solution: Fixing the deletion problem, also improving the multiselection and adding an immediate auto-save when a retailer is tagged or untagged so retail team can quickly make changes and correct mistakes without having to click and save multiple times.

Challenge: We found the same issue when trying to link/unlink scheme from a tag.
Solution: The same fix is applied here too and now the link/unlink scheme interface is behaving as expected.
