30 déc. 1899 - A German military officer named Fernando von Zeppelin invented a rigid framed airship, which he named after himself. During the zeppelin’s first ever flight it flew approximately 3.7 miles in 17 minutes. The zeppelin was used in World War 1 by the Germans.
