Philippine authorities arrested 14 Vietnamese fishermen on illegal fishing charges off the waters of Paluan. Superintendent Imelda Tolentino stated that the fishermen were caught Wednesday aboard two vessels in the central province of Occidental Mindoro and arrested while in the act of poaching in territorial waters of Paluan.The fishermen were brought to the police station in the nearby town of Mamburao where they then underwent a thorough interrogation, while their fishing boats were towed to a municipal port.https://www.rfa.org/english/news/vietnam/philippines-fishermen03152018133936.html/
