Description:

Has several other names: The Year 2000 problem, Millennium big, Y2K bug, and the Y2K glitch. It was a scare in the computer world that once the year 2000 occurs, all existing programs will fail because they did not account for the next millennium. Programs only used the last 2 digits for the 1900s so the year 2000 would create errors.
