Description:
Amid the storm of revolt started by the Bastille, the National Assembly issued this declaration, granting equality, freedom, and representative government, although this did little to stop the chaos. This came as a result of the gained rights for peasantry, such as abolishment of serfdom, installed by the Great Fear.
