1 janv. 1623 - The Assayer
Description:
on the divide physics/experience
It is a book published by Galileo in 1643. It argues that objective reality is not what we perceive (smell, color, etc) but instead it is objective reality is based on real properties (relating to time and space). It states that nature was well-ordered and structured, so it could be investigated through mathematics. It also made the point that both people need "two books" (geometry, Bible) to understand nature; since God created both books, they cannot be in contradiction. Hetal Shah
