-meeting of the Grand Alliance
-created a military strategy to defeat Germany and Japan, made important decisions about a post-war era, discussed the creation of a Western Front, the soviets joining the war against Japan
-also discussed the creation of an international organization for peace after the war (UN)
-important because the 3 countries historically did not get along (especially USSR with the US and Britain), but they put their differences aside in order to help each other
