- Day 601
- Negan and the Saviors arrive at Alexandria. Negan bangs on the gate using Lucille and asks to be let in. Spencer approaches the gate and asks who they are, much to Negan's surprise. He tells him to go and get Rick while he and his men kill several roamers.
- Rick arrives and opens up the gate. Negan and a few dozen Saviors walk inside while Negan preaches about how instead of throwing a fit or bashing in some Asian kid's head, he and his men kill a few of the dead for them. Negan tells Rick to hold Lucille for him while he marvels at how spectacular the community is. He asks how many people live here to which Rick responds with "fourty-nine, fourty-eight". Negan bets they've got about twenty houses here and probably a few empty, too.
- Rick shows Negan around. He tells Rick that his men are going to split up and speed up the process a bit. He decides not to take any food as there isn't much anyway and quietly comments on how they have a fat woman, Olivia, in charge of rations. Carl approaches Negan and urges him to go home before he realises how dangerous they all are. Negan asks Carl if he's threatening him. Rick tells him to go back inside but Negan tells him they're in a conversation. Whn asked to repeat himself, Carl stays quiet. Negan tells him to listen to his father and run back inside.
