- Jesus continues to follow Dwight from afar. He is attacked by an emptie and quickly throws it over a ledge where it lands behind Dwight. He turns around but Jesus has hid just in time to not be seen.
- Meanwhile at Alexandria, Andrea packs her things and starts to move out of Rick's house, not being able to even look at him. He stops her and tells her his true plan. Negan and the Saviors are going to interact with everyone in Alexandria, they need to believe that they're scared and that they've fully surrendered. Therefore nobody should know the true plan so that nothing is spoiled. Andrea hugs Rick in glee and agrees to stay.
- Rick asks Carl if he wants anything for lunch. Carl gives Rick a dirty stare. Rick assures him that everything is going to work out fine and he needs to trust him.
