Description:
US-wide constitutional ban of the production, distribution, importation and sale of alcohol.While the prohibition was in the US, it affected the businesses and economy of all of its trade partners, including Canada.
From this law sprouted many speakeasies (still a stylistic trend in the bar scene today).
