4 h 30 min, 4 mars 2005 ans - Glenn gets his head bashed in by Negan using Lucille. (Issue 100) (Issue 101)

Description:

- Day 594
- Rick is pulled off from on top the van with an animal control pole. The Savior Rick left alive on the road (see day 589) tells Mike to signal Negan and the others. Mike fires a shot and the rest of Rick's group come running out the van armed. Before they can kill the small group of Saviors, a large cargo truck pulls up next to them and fifty Saviors, armed with all kinds of close combat weapons pile out from the back and surround the group.
- Negan himself emerges from the crowd and asks the survivors if they're pissing their pants yet. Negan introduces himself to Rick and assures him that he'll so regret crossing the Saviors in a few minutes. He explains to Rick that he must not mess with the new world order, which is very simple: "Give me your shit or I will kill you." Negan tells Rick that his group now works for the Saviors and they'll have to start giving half their supplies to them from now on. Not wanting to let Rick's group get away unpunished, he orders Rick's group lined up and on their knees.
- Negan doesn't want to kill anyone, but they've killed a lot of Saviors and for that they've got to pay. So now he's going to beat someone to death with his barbed wire baseball bat, who he calls 'Lucille' (see day 99).
- Sophia starts crying which Negan says is precious. He comments on how Maggie is too hot to have a child that old.
- He tells Carl to lighten up, or at least cry. He can't kill him because his story is too interesting.
- He can't kill Glenn or Heath because he doesn't want to be labelled as a racist.
- He wants to do a lot of things to Michonne, and killing them is at the bottom of that list. Still on it though.
- Negan comments on how he can't kill Rick because he's practically invincible. He's missing a hand (see day 265) and must have lived through some awful shit for these people to see him as a leader. The point is to break Rick in front of everyone so they fall in line. He's going to slide his dick down Rick's throat and make Rick thank him for it.
- Not being able to decide, Negan plays a game of 'eeny, meeny, miny, moe' to decide who to kill. After much tension, he finally picks Glenn to kill. Maggie and Rick beg him not to do it but have to sit back down. Glenn is brought before Negan and he strikes down hard on Glenn's head with Lucille, popping his left eye out and caving in his head. Glenn cries out for Maggie and is hit again, this time breaking his jaw. Negan repeatedly bashes in Glenn's brains until he is almost unrecognisable. He jokes about Lucille being a 'vampire bat'.
- A tearful Rick tells Negan that "not today, not tomorrow" but he WILL kill him. Negan stands up and tells Rick to do it now and as soon as he does, the Saviors will turn everyone inside out. Negan tells Rick that he's not in charge anymore and everything has changed now. He just hopes he realises it. They'll come for Alexandria's first offering in one week. Until then... "Ta ta".
