- Day 593
- Carl wonders why they aren't there yet as they should have arrived just after lunch but it's almost dinner time. Rick tells Carl to put a seatbelt on. Heath asks Rick if they're lost because the drive was meant to be shorter. Rick says he recognises the area, they were just going faster when Jesus was with them.
- Michonne knows they're not going to make it there before dark. Maggie worries about having to spend the night on the road but Glenn tells her it's fine and they'll be only a couple hours away in the morning.
- Heath asks if they should carry on through the night because they have headlights and plenty of gas. Rick says it's too risky and Michonne thinks they should stop now while there's still a little bit of daylight left.
- Michonne takes first watch. At some point Rick thanks her for always being there for him. She says following him into the gates of hell is her way of saying thanks for keeping her alive. Rick will take over her watch shift in a few hours.
- Inside the van, Glenn lies awake. He tells Rick that his mind is racing about the Hilltop and the baby. Rick says he'll miss the hell out of him and congratulates him on the baby. Glenn can't stop thinking about tomorrow, Maggie smiles.
